In a significant step toward improving healthcare services in #Homs Governorate, the city of Rastan witnessed today the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Syrian Ministry of Health and the international organization Emergency, which includes the implementation of a project to rehabilitate and equip the National Hospital in Rastan, with a budget of 20 million dollars.
To improve the medical reality in Syria, the Directorate of Health Professions in Damascus concluded a training program aimed at enhancing the efficiency of healthcare personnel and students of nursing and midwifery schools. The program covered topics such as infection control, advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the impact of breastfeeding, and was implemented across five governorates over two and a half months.
Launch of the Summer Semester for Third-Year Students at the Nursing School The Nursing School at the Ministry of Health has launched the summer semester for third-year students, aiming to review acquired skills and prepare them for the job market. The program is implemented through consecutive training stations, starting in laboratories and then moving to hospitals for practical application.
